Post by Clare, Audrey, and Kate

Hey Cinci! Our first full day at the lodge was full of fun events.  Because we have such a big group, we split into three groups.  Two groups went to a chocolate farm.  They learned all about fruits and how chocolate is made.  After that they went zip lining and saw some pretty cool monkeys.  The other group went horseback riding in the mountains.  They saw lots of animals, including a boa, a toucan, spiders, and a rare Costa Rica deer.  IT was an awesome day and we can't wait until tomorrow.  WE loved reading your comments and we will talk to you tomorrow!!

  10. Hi Chris! Hope you had a blast ziplining and going to the chocolate factory! Send more pictures!! Speaking of pictures, I have been going thru old pictures to send in for your memory book. Can't believe how fast time has gone. You will love to see the ones I have found. There is one of Mrs Doyle and Mrs Wilkens, Andy Garcia and you sitting at Greaters enjoying ice cream. So cute! Yesterday, I took Emily to mass and then we went to they Sleepy Bee. Guess who was there?? The Frueh's!! We joined them and had a great breakfast. Mrs Merusi sat down with us and had desert. For the rest of the day, we just relaxed. Today is a different story. Lots of shoveling snow. No fun. Have a great time. We love you lots! Say hi to dad. Love, mom

It's Monday morning and we already have about 1-2 inches of snow on the ground, and they're expecting up to as much as 7 inches before the day ends. It's also FREEZING here and will be all week. You're so lucky to be there instead. miss you tons already.. Love you, Dad
