Gabrielle. I love that color that you all painted the house. Beautiful. Great Work!! Also, it was fun to see you all with the other children. So cute! I miss you and I Love you! From your Mama
Cameron and all the other students, you all should feel good for helping out others and making the donations. The students I'm sure absolutely loved having all of you to help paint and provide the donations. What a beautiful day! It's makes us all realize how blessed we are with everything that we have in our life. I noticed the teacher presenting on her "white board"..... The colors are so cool that you used to paint, I'm sure they all appreciated it. Thanks to the Morgan's and the teacher's that helped to coordinate the contributions and going to the school. Glad to hear that everyone enjoyed their day and had a great dinner as well. Enjoy your evening and we are counting down the hours, til your return :) Blessings to all - Love and prayers, Cameron, Love Mom.....bfsa
Hi Everybody, You did a great job with that pretty green paint! Now that I know of that talent... Anyway, glad to see you having fun with the children there and to see all of the nice things you brought to share. I'm sure they were thrilled! I'm so proud of you! It's not the same without you. 18 remaining Eighth Graders just isn't enough excitement! Even after a one day week I still have to write TGIF and tell you to soak up every warm weather minute. You're nearing the last day...have fun! Love, Miss Rosemond
Hi Ryan, Once again love sharing this trip with you all through the pictures! We can only dream of the warmth of your days, ours are far from it but the daily posts and pictures warm our hearts immensely. So glad you were all able to give of yourselves today and leave a little something behind, a Green wall, supplies and gifts and judging from the pictures, some volley ball memories and a lot of smiles. Have another wonderful day and know you are continually in our thoughts and prayers. Love you buddy!❤️Mom
Andrew ... painting the fence green (to match your shirt) looked like fun. You look so happy with your friends .. you'll always look back on this experience with a "smile". Can't wait for you to tell us about all of your activities. See you soon ... Love Grandma "W:
Hi Caroline and everyone else! Your day sounds like one crazy, fun adventure after another! I love it that you are surrounded by beautiful colors in every form -- sky, sea, plants, paint, even the food! We have one main color here right now and it is WHITE! More snow last night and it is still coming down. The dogs love it and have been running and rolling in it. Although poor Jesse keeps losing his tennis ball and bones and I have to go out and find them for him. :) Please bring some sunshine home with you! I love you much, and thanks to the teachers, chaperones, and everyone at the Lodge for taking good care of you guys. Love, Mom.
Costa Rica Pumas: Entonces… ¿cree que se ha perdido toda la diversión el invierno en Ohio? Y no temáis! Hemos ahorrado un buen clima frío para que a su regreso a Cincinnati. La semana que viene es a alta temperatura es del orden del 34° con una baja de -4 °. Disfrute de la calidez mientras pueda. ~El Senor Frueh
Cameron - Dad thinks he can speak fluent Spanish based on the messages that he has left for you all on the blog....what do you think..... :)
Personally though, I don't know about all of you students and chaperones but I am thoroughly enjoying the Rice blogs.....that's a whole adventure in itself! It's providing some pretty good humor for all of us!
Enjoy the warmth and sunshine because when you return, it's still going to be COLD! I noticed the temp for Monday when you return and the low will be -5, you will get to appreciate what we have been basking in and enjoying here in OH. Have a great day and be safe - love and prayers - Mom....bfsa
PS....due to the amount of snow we rec'd - I drove by the Rice's house and Mr. Rice had Megan and Eric use the shovels in their front yard to carve out SMS across their front lawn......he's so creative! They must not have gotten higher than a 98% on their home studies that he has them working on during their snow days......
Hi Doodie, It looks like you are having a good time with the SMS crew. I thought that I would give you an update on things in Cincy. Jack has been off of school all week and has been pretty much worthless around the house. Mom and I have been painting the house (we can put your new found skills to use). Red beans and rice? I can see a trip to BW3s in my near future. Gold Rush Update - the dredge is still down but Parker and company are getting close to their season goals. Clover and I miss our wing man and are looking forward to your return. I am off to shovel the driveway (see earlier comment about Jack) it looks like Forest Hills finest just dumped their plow at the end of our driveway. Counting down the days to spring break. Dad
Hi Karissa! It's another snowy day here in Cincinnati. I've been fighting a cold the past couple of days but I'm feeling better every day. I woke up this morning and could barely talk! What a surprise! I love all the pictures and you all did such a great job and had fun too! It's always a good feeling to give back. I miss you lots and can't wait to see you when you come home! Love, Sissy
Hi Mommy and Ben. While Eric was watching "Great Abs in 13 Minutes" last night, Megan and I decided to go outside and throw snowballs at cars. We were in the front yard. People sure didn't like getting hit, and they were mad, and then we realized that they could tell where we lived. When the police came, they didn't arrest us. They just couldn't believe that we didn't go to someone else's yard and throw from there. I told the officer: "That would be wrong."
Got back inside and made Ben's favorite meal: Peas and broccoli and anything green that Ben never remembers to tell the doctor that he eats when I'm sitting there getting a lecture about food and bad parenting. Pizza and skyline? That's all you can say, Ben?? We went over this a million times in the car.
